76, of Monroe, WI, a former Janesville resident died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at her home. Donna Jean was born November 17, 1936 in Janesville, the only child of Erling and Mildred (Woletz) Dahl. She graduated from Janesville High School in 1956. She was married to John W. Codman from September 21, 1956 to April 28, 1973. Donna was formerly employed by Gunderson Lounge, Playmore Bowl and El Ra Bowl. She moved to the Montello/ Packwaukee area in 1981 and worked at the Starlite Lounge. In 2004, she moved to Monroe. Donna Jean will be remembered as a very kind person.
Surviving are 3 children, Christine (Peter) Kelly of Monroe, Dawn (Timothy) Hatlevig of the State of Georgia, Bradley (Susan ) Codman of the State of Georgia and 7 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Milton Lawns Memorial Park Chapel, 2200 Milton Avenue, Janesville followed by burial in Milton Lawns. The family is being assisted by Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, Janesville.
